In June of 2022, I directed a production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" for Maples Repertory Theatre. This was their teen camp production, but we only had 9 teens sign up, so I had to get creative with casting. I decided to do a multi-media production, in which all the mechanical scenes were recorder and then projected onstage between the live scenes. For the final mechanical scene, the presentation of Pyramus and Thisby, the actors watched the projection from onstage as if they were at a film screening.
